Slobodne veze, an association from Zagreb dedicated to modern art practices, is organizing a themed tour of modernist heritage from the era of socialism as a part of their project Motel Trogir. Tomorrow, April 16th at 12 h, there will be a guided visit of the recently reconstructed ‘Wooden Skyscraper’ by architect Drago Ibler from 1958. Its representative, original aesthetic has been restored, and its energetic infrastructure has been significantly improved. The tour will start at the Drago Ibler Square.
The visitors of the Wooden Skyscraper will be guided by one of its residents, architect and photographer Miljenko Bernfest Berni. The organizational and creative team of the project Motel Trogir consist of Nataša Bodrožić, Lidija Butković Mićin, Diana Magdić and Saša Šimpraga, with a number of collaborators.
Since the number of visitors was limited due to technical reasons, the guest list has been completed.
