Location: Klub HDLU, Trg žrtava fašizma 16
The lecture is intended for anyone, regardless of age. Darius Kowal is working on the psychological influence of color and light on humans, and will be talking about the question of the origin of light and singularity (the Big Bang theory), electromagnetism, the strange behavior of photons, and other subjects. He will also be mentioning the problem of the color spectrum, the incidence and the complementarity of colors, color hues and the relation between the brain and the eye. Furthermore, he will be touching on the subject of the use of color in art history, since the classical age up until today. The lecture will encourage the guests to question the ways we use and think about color, whether in a concrete or abstract way, philosophically or physically… Or a little bit in every way.
