Location: Pogon Mislavova, Mislavova 11
Organization: Savez udruga Operacija Grad i POGON – Zagrebački centar za nezavisnu kulturu i mlade
What makes a community culture center? What kinds of facilities does it need to function properly? How do we satisfy the prerequisites for the synergy of various content in the program? These are some of the questions that we will attempt to answer in a “live design” workshop format. The various protagonists of independent culture and civil society will try to combine their wishes and, via mediation by architects of the 9,81 platform, together create an ideal future intercultural community center for Zagreb. By making sketches, diagrams, and charts, we will conceive the desired spatial framework, while the organizational model of cooperation and sharing will be transfused into an innovative business framework. Following the behind-closed-doors part of the workshop, there will be a public presentation of the concept, as well as a discussion with all the interested guests.
SCHEDULE: 11:00 – 13:00 / Behind-closed-doors, 13:00 – 13:15 / Break, 13:15 – 14:30 / Public presentation and discussion.
