Only a few months after its opening, the small, but very peculiar Cantina Cucina Fina quickly became the first association for Italian cuisine in Zagreb, thanks to its respect for gastronomic tradition, its seasonal offer, fresh ingredients, home-made pasta, sauces and bread.
The leading trattoria in Zagreb stands out with its carefully thought out menu which is based on authentic Italian culinary heritage, brought together by their chef from Venice – Roger Nordio, in collaboration with Croatian colleagues. Another specialty of this spot is its open kitchen, where meals are prepared in front of guests, and those who arrive for breakfast get the chance to see how the dough is rolled. Of course, they offer a take-out menu, but everyone will agree that it’s much better to enjoy this type of cuisine at the Cantina, whose warm interior was designed by the architecture bureau 2A – also located in the neighbourhood.
