Edward Bernays College for Communication Management is the first institution of higher education in this part of Europe which offers students a complete education in communication management and public relations.
The institution goes by the name of Edward Louis Bernays (1891 – 1995), founder of public relations and grandson of Sigmund Freud, the famous pioneer of psychoanalysis. There are currently 300 students enrolled in the Bernays study programs, which consist of an undergraduate program of communication management and a graduate program of public relations management, where more than 100 scientists and communication professionals teach. Along with their experienced permanent lecturers, guest lectures at the Bernays school are also held by recognized experts in public relations, prominent politicians, businessmen, and directors of corporate communications. One of the biggest advantages of this institution of higher education is certainly a broad network of partner institutions, which includes nearly 70 media companies, public relations and marketing agencies, domestic and foreign companies, and various other institutions. The connection the students at Bernays have with the business community is the main reason why they have the opportunity to start their careers already during their studies, both in Croatia and abroad.
