Oris, The House of Architecture has been designed as the main point of all activities in Zagreb related to architecture.
Oris, The House of Architecture is a polyvalent space unifying the editorial board of Oris, as the leading regional architectural magazine, library, reading room, gallery and multifunctional hall. Oris, The House of Architecture opened in January 2015. It was designed as the main point of all activities in Zagreb related to architecture and promotion and development of this profession. Oris’s programme comprises exhibitions, guest visits and lectures of eminent Croatian and foreign architects, conferences, workshops and various symposiums organized at the hall with the capacity of 156 seats. All members can use the library and reading room freely during the working hours. Many important architects have been guests of the House of Architecture, i.e. Aleš Vodopivac, Vedran Mimica, Mathias Klotz, Ivica Plavec, Kohki Hiranuma, Jean Francoisa Porchez, Robert Potokar and others.
For all the above-described reasons, Oris is a place that deserves to be visited as one of the newest cultural spots in the city.
